- Winger reveals United dream
- Club Brugge star open to move to Old Trafford
- Conditional move met with Champions League football, but United must hold fire
It is no secret that Manchester United are in the hunt for another winger to add to the squad.
Currently, the options on the left wing are Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu, who has preferred playing further up the pitch. With United playing in the Champions League in 2026/27, a move looks likely as long as finances are fine.
The future of Marcus Rashford is still in doubt, with no resolution made over whether FC Barcelona will trigger the option to buy. Therefore, a contingency must be thought of, with one player from Belgium already looking like an ideal signing.

Tzolis Could be Convinced by United
Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, Christos Tzolis openly admitted that the interest from Old Trafford could sway the player with a move to England. He said: “United could convince me. Such a massive club with so much history. It would be hard to say no to that.”
By qualifying for the Champions League under Michael Carrick, the Reds match the player’s criteria for playing in Europe’s elite competition next season. Tzolis added: “It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy. Only PSG is a better option than Club.”
The 24-year-old did, however, directly rule out a move from another specific Premier League side. He stated: “The Crystal Palace train has already left the station for me. It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy. Only PSG is a better option than Club.”
Tzolis has made 52 appearances for Club Brugge this season, scoring 22 goals in all competitions. Two of those goals came in the Champions League against Atalanta and Atletico Madrid. Brugge were eliminated in the knockout round following the league phase over two legs.

United Must Pause Before Making Move
Before Manchester United rushes to trigger this green light, the hierarchy must assess Rashford’s situation. Tzolis has made his ambitions clear by shutting the door on mid-table Premier League clubs. It is bold, but making the jump from the Belgian Pro League directly to Old Trafford still carries some risk.
While his incredible output and Champions League experience with Club Brugge are impressive, the Premier League demands a different level of consistency. With both players heavily favouring the left wing, United run a serious financial risk by having more players in the squad than they know what to do with.
United must first determine if Rashford is staying or going. Otherwise, jumping into a deal for Tzolis could leave them with a financial headache they cannot solve. So far, the Rashford conundrum has already proven troubling.
